![]() The farm was created through one generation's retirement dream and the next generation's occupational dream. Mighty Wind Farms is a farm in Sister Bay, Wisconsin, owned and operated by Dan, Char and Tay Fatke. Rick and Scott serve on SLO Farmers Co-op Board of Directors. They envision Full Circle having a future as a community farm, with education and research at the center of its mission. They have added pastured laying hens and heritage pastured pigs, as well as 10 acres of diversified vegetable production to the operation. ![]() It efficiently feeds cows the grass they are made to eat while maintaining rich, deep organic matter that holds their waste and prevents it from running off into our waterways.Īfter finishing college in 2017, their son Andrew and his partner Heather moved to the farm and, in partnership with NWTC graduate, Scott, are now focusing on growing the local food movement through diversified enterprises. Rotational grazing, as done on the farm, provides a balanced ecological system that protects waterways and greatly reduces greenhouse emissions. Rick serves on the board of the Wisconsin Farmers Union and both he and Val are involved with efforts to preserve Wisconsin waterways. Val implemented the Sustainable and Organic Farming program at Northeastern Wisconsin Technical College (NWTC) and is recognized statewide for her knowledge of organic production. This certified organic, pasture based farm was a dairy operation until 2015 when Rick and Val changed to raising grass-fed beef. ![]() The Adamski’s are now five generations on Full Circle Farm near Pulaski. ![]()
